Looking forward to it.

Happy Holidays!

We’re looking forward to a reunion.

Lauren PIerce… 38 years old and still the same old class clown I was back in high school !!! Divorced … Yee ha … no kids… and to be honest .. losing my dog who passed on to doggy heaven was worse then losing my husband !! Still living in the grand ole state of DE .. and doing mortgages for a living !

Hey everybody, can’t wait to see you at the reunion.

Hey everybody, can’t wait to see you at the reunion

Hi Jean Miller,
Ivy Roy told me about the website. I will forward this info along. Looking forward to seeing a lot of folks, so I hope this reunion takes place. Hey where are Peter A, Gary Ricky, and Nick? Wassup Lauren P. It’s been a while since I saw you last.
Glad to hear all is well. Sorry to hear about the dog :) I’m still in Delaware as well. Take care folks.

Hey Classmates,

It would be good to see everyone! My face will be in the place-just let me know when. Tysha, thanks for forwarding me the info-you are always good about keeping people posted and on point. I am living in Towson Maryland and I work in the housing industry. I work full-time as a computer consultant for HUD clients and I do real estate investing on the side. So all of you that are in the industry-we need to talk. I don’t know how many of you remember that I had a son in high school. His name is Jakevis. He graduated from Brandywine High School- can you believe it!! No- he was not like me(total opposite). His teachers actually liked him. Anyway, I am proud to say that he will be graduating this May from Virginia State University. I know yall are saying damn- but time flies by so fast. Those of you that have children, embrace and cherish this time with them. Okay, so enough chatting….I am ready to know when and where the reunion will take place. I really want to see all of you. Who would have thought that our rowdy ass class would turn out some superstars. BHS should be proud of us!! I don’t care if it is on the football field at BHS, I will be there. Please keep me posted. I would love to hear from all of you. My personal e-mail address is charezab@aol.com. Peace and Blessings to you all!

WOW. So wonderful to hear what you all have been up to. Sounds like folks have really done well for themselves — congratulations to all! Where have 20 years gone? We’re not that old, are we?

I left Delaware after high school and have only rarely been back, so I’ve missed seeing many of you. (My foks retired to Western Kentucky and my sister moved to Reading.) After college at Duke and law school at University of Illinois, I’ve been settled in Washington for the past 13 years. Live about 20 miles south of the city, work a couple of blocks from the White House. Close enough to get back to see everyone for a reunion!

Married for eight years to Julie, love of my life, who I met after settling in DC (although we were at University of Illinois at the same time, but didn’t know it.) We have three wonderful kids, who keep us plenty busy.

Still close in touch with Paul Wilke — he was our best man — even though he’s been in Singapore for 10 years! He’s very happy there with a wonderful wife and son; we’re unlkely to entice him back for the reunion, but we should try! Eta (Nahapetian) Davis lives less than 10 miles away — we see each other for kids’ birthday parties if nothing else. Keep up from time to time with Frances Galvin, Ellen Goode, Kate (Latham) Brown. Lost touch with Vera Wu in the past couple of years — anyone have a contact? Surely I hung with some guys, too? Anyone know what became of Jay Malick? Jon Stout? Dave Reische?

Am glad to see so many of you live in Washington. Any interest in getting together for dinner/happy hour sometime? Gary? Craig? Dean?

Looking forward to seeing many of you whenever this reunion comes together. Please — for us out of towners with nowhere to stay — locate some hotel nearby so we can get a block to get a good rate and party after the party!

I have lost touch with just about everybody…I’ve travelled the world in the military (Army then Air Force) and I can’t believe I have been in the military for over 20 years or that I haven’t seen all of your smiling faces. I saw a couple of you in DC while down there for a conference one night…I believe it was Eta Nahapetian, Ellen Goode, and others. I also remember that my car was broken into that night.

I was at the 5 or 10 (?) year reunion at Hercules Country Club and I wish I had stayed longer that night.

I’m currently Active Duty in the Delaware Air National Guard…I get all the benefits of the Active Duty in the Air Force, but I don’t have to switch bases every two or three years.

Contact me if anybody wants to catch up on old times…

Hey Ellen Goode, Kate Latham, Madonna Belliotti…Wedgie War IV is coming…..

I didn’t get the info in time to make the planning meeting, but wanted to pass along a possibility for everyone to consider. One of my jobs right now is senior projectionist at Theatre N at Nemours, an independant film venue in downtown Wilmington. The theatre is available for rent for special events and is completely digitally capable. We can show Power Point slide presentations or VHS and DVD films in High Definition projection as well as traditional 35mm Films. We have done special events with Deep Blue and Costas restaurants catering hot and cold hors d’orvers and bars on site (plus they are both next door and have private rooms available for more complete service). If you were interested, we would be able to show video clips from BHS games, plays, graduation, etc, a slideshow of yearbook or Then and Now photos, as well as play a favorite movie from high school at the theatre. We could do dinner before or after at either of the restaurants mentioned above, as well as have food and drinks on site. It wouldn’t be the usual class reunion, but it might be fun.

I didnt think I would be this excited. Angie S (she’s in Texas) called and asked me if I knew about the reunion -Tysha had sent her something, So I called my favorite class clown who had no insight for me (Thanks Lauren!). Then Sue called last night and here I am! I can’t wait to see everyone. Meredith B did an inservice at my job a few months ago and asked her whatever happened with her being an Architect - well anyway… I will pass the info along as well!!!
See ya soon! BTW… Lauren - you didnt tell me about the dog!!!

Super job, Team!

Everyone gets an A+ for last night’s Dawg-a-thon. We have 10 new additions to the Blue Carpet!

Kristen wins the prize for the most sales with a total of 4. Thanks to Tammy for the great hosting and to J.P. for the wonderful sparkling pinot grigio. It’s kind of cool how Tom seems to be taking on the role of our class Godfather (”Don’t ever go against the bulldog.”) My favorite part was when Frances called someone and said, “Hi, this is Frances from high school. I’m calling to get your credit card number.”

Stay tuned for information about the next (and perhaps final,) Dawg-a-thon!

Thanks again for your hard work. It’s paying off!

Looking forward to being there!

Newsflash! Dawgchat now available. http://www.87bulldogs.com

Bonus Tip: Are you travelling to the BHS Class of ‘87 20-Year Reunion from out of town and needing a place to stay? Here are two options:

1. Visit the Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau for information about area hotels and motels.

2. Crash with an old friend who lives locally. You can post here if you are looking for that old friend. If you ARE that old friend, and are willing to let a classmate stay at your place, you can post here, too. (There is a certain New Year’s Eve party that comes to mind for some reason - wink, wink.)

Looking forward,
